I'm having fits over this new ASI 071. I bought it a few months ago and this strange pattern keeps showing up on my images. I have tried three different scopes and it is always the same.
Upon inspection the glass is clean and so is the sensor. I treat my equipment like royalty so I know there is nothing I've done. This pattern showed up on the 1st image I captured and has not left.
It looks like a fingerprint but there are none to be seen. I'm beginning to think that somewhere along the line during assembly that someone touched the sensor somewhere and it is in a spot that I cannot get too.
Anybody got any ideas?
