Hi Stijn,
I use a ZWO ASI1600mm-C with a 254mm F4.9 newtonian telescope and it does require a coma corrector. I'm using the GSO coma corrector with all of the ZWO supplied spacers plus one 15mm spacer to achive the 55mm spacing between the sensor and the coma corrector.
Hello, Ghswen.
I have the same camera as you and I was thinking about buying myself a newton of 254mm....
My doubt is that, according to the formula
Sensor resolution (arc sg) = microns / focal length x 206,265
3.8um/1200X206.265=0.65
I understand that if the sensor resolution is less than 1, the image is blurred due to over sampling....
Anyway, I'd like to know your experience with that focal length and that camera or, if possible, any photos you've taken with that combination.
Thank you in advance. (And sorry for my English)
Carlos.
