I am thinking about buying an ASI1600mc. I downloaded the manual and there was absolutely nothing about settings, controls, etc. As I am new to astrophotography (not astronomy), this was pretty discouraging. Did I miss something?
Nope. You did not miss anything. The info is out there. Just not all in one place. It is a bit of a scavenger hunt for tried and true workflows. But that's part of the fun and learning process. :)
Here is a user guide of ASI cameras, you can find some settings or controls in this manual.
