I have just received a new ASI224MC and it will not connect via USB3 it connects ok on USB2, I need it to connect via USB3 as I only have 2 USB2 connections on my laptop.
Is it listed under image devices in device manager when connect on USB3.0 port, open the properly dialog and does the device work properly?
yes and no, I suspect it is losing connection as it's there one minute then gone the next, my laptop keeps repeatedly beeping as if something new as been plugged in. It is also losing connection in a USB2 port.
You can try replacing the USB cable.
I worked that out myself and it works ok, why do you include a cheap usb cable with an expensive camera, that is not a very good policy.
