gain and offset values for non-ASCOM users

Hello Sam and everyone. I have two ZWO cameras, a 290mc and a 1600mc-c. I run 100% Linux with INDI, and am trying to find tuning information for my cameras around gain and offset. The 1600 is pretty well documented, and shows up in a web search as to what the settings are for HDR, unity, and high, but to date, I have only been able to find the unity setting of 110 for the 290mc, not even the recommended offset to go with it.

Sam, it would be very handy for us non-windows users without the ASCOM presets, to have a table of what the preset values actually are so that we can plug them in as good starting places for our cameras. Is this something that could be considered? At the least, can you help me to fill the table out for the ASI290MC?

Hi, you can get e/ADU from member ElecPerADU of struct ASI_CAMERA_INFO, using API ASI_ERROR_CODE ASIGetCameraProperty(ASI_CAMERA_INFO *pASICameraInfo, int iCameraIndex).

the pre-defined offset and gain can be get with

ASI_ERROR_CODE ASIGetGainOffset(int iCameraID, int *Offset_HighestDR, int *Offset_UnityGain, int *Gain_LowestRN, int *Offset_LowestRN)
