Edition of ASCOM driver Gain/offset settings ASI 290 MMC

Hello,

I have downloaded the ASCOM drivers for my ASI 1600 MCC and 290 MMC. Everything seems to work well. I would like to edit the predefined gain/offset settings for the ASI 290.

How could I do this trough the ASCOM Platform ?

I don't know with which tool to edit them. Could you give me the predefined ain/offset for the ASI 290 please ? That would help very much.

Thanks SAM, I eventually succeeded in viewing the settings with Sharpcap using ascom driver.

But there is one question left. Predefined settings stop at gain 300 / Offset 75. What about higher gain values (like 450 or 500 ?)

300 is the highest analog gain

it's useless when you choose 16bit output and set higher gain

but it's useful if you only wish to save in 8bit

Hello again.

Unity gain for the 290MM is 110 for 12bits. Under FC when I switch in 8 bits, the scale shows unity gain at 351.

IS there a different scale for 8 bits and 12 bits ?

you are correct, there are 4bits less for 8bits

so 2^4=16X is required

16X=24db

that's why 240 gain added
