Will there be a ASI183MC-Cool in the future? Being a 1" chip with 2.4um pixels it appears to be the big brother of the imx178. High resolution with a 16mm chip diagonal it seems very appealing. Using this with ROI one can use very fast focal reduction and achieve good image scale. I would think that the 183 would be able to do the same FOV at the same image scale as a 178 sensor camera, and much more. The same and much more of the 183 is what makes it very appealing compared to the 178.
