I purchased the ASI 1600C-Cool camera, Last night I imaged the Ring Nebula. When I process the image in Photo Shop and enlarge the image to 66% or larger I see the crosshatch pattern and in the image. Is there a setting I have wrong or a problem with the camera. Gain is set to almost zero and the offset is very low as well. The images are 120 seconds long.
Thanks for any help!!
Maybe the debayer pattern is not correct.
Can you show the image ?
I did not save the image. I will check the debayer pattern and try some static daylight targets before imaging again. I will try and image the same target later tonight .
Thanks for the help
I changed the debayer settings last night and imaged the Ring nebula, I will continue to work on the imaging time, and better tracking but the issue of the unwanted pattern in the image is now resolved.
Thanks again for the help
That is reeally interesting, i need to try this as well
I set up the scope and camera in the daytime and took images of objects that were in color, after each image I changed the debayer settings in the software. I believe the camera has a set debayer set up. I could then see the way the different setting processed the color and the details in the image.
