ASI1600MM-C Cooling Question

Hi there, I am using MaximDL as my exposure acquisition software and use it to cool down the sensor to - 20 degrees every time for my session.

At the end of every session before powering the camera off, I hit "Warm up" button which starts brining the temperature back up.

Now the question is, what temperature do I need to bring the camera up to? Is it the outside temperature? Or is it something else?

Also what happens when you accidentally power the equipment off without warming up the sensor? It takes an awful amount of time to bring the second sort to warm up if you have to quickly restart the software for whatever reason.

it doesn't matter if you turn off cooler or warm up slowly

so don't bother it

Hi Sam, thank you for the reply. So what you're saying is that i can power down my ASI1600MM-C without warming up and it will not have an affect on the hardware/chip (short and long run) and it will not start to fog up the sensor or the window or anything? i'm just conscious about that to be honest.

it won't have an affect on the hardware if you turn off power
