Can you run a ASI 178MM-Cool as a guide camera and ASI 178MC-Cool as the imaging camera and vice versa?
I currently have a 178MM-Cool and the old ICX-618 based guide camera I had died.
So I am looking at the possibility of getting a 178MC-Cool that will perform multiple duties as:
1. A planetary imaging camera with a F10 SCT (got very tedious with mono)
2. A One-Shot colour DSO camera with Canon EF 200mm F2.8L and 85mm F1.2L-II
3. Guide camera (178MCC+200mm) when imaging narrowband with a FL=500mm F5.5 APO via the 178MM-Cool+APO
Will it all be stable or the second instance of a 178 based camera albeit slightly different (MC/MM) make the computer/software play up?
