Image colour?

I was out the other night using my ZWO ASI034 MC (colour) with the MAK 150. Got some good frames of Jupiter and although the live image on the laptop was clearly in colour, when I save the AVI file it went to BW!

This is bonkers to me as it's a colour Imaging camera. The software I used to control was Sharp Capture 2.9 and I have used it before to get a great image of Jupiter (in colour)

Has anyone encountered the before?

Quite normal.

In fact it's better to save your videos in so called raw format, which shows as bw.

You just have to bring colour back through processing with a method called debayering.

Download Autostakkert or/and Registax and find some tutorials using them.
