ASI071 - split image

Hi there, after some other CCD cameras I now came to the ASI071 due to the big sensor.

Last night I could install everything and get the camera running with Maxim DL.

However the Image that Shows up is a Little bit weird.

I get a Kind of a split Image. Lower part is dark, upper part Shows stars as supposed.

Any ideas?

that's very strange

do you use our latest ASCOM driver?

Hi,

Yes I used the new ascom driver. Will give it story with some other software.

A friend also told me to check the USB cable.

Hi Sam,

will be hard with teamviewer as my Internet Connection is not the best one for such things.

Yesterday I could try SharpCap and Maxim DL.

Sharpcap: no Problem with the readout

Maxim DL: same effect again

I will uninstall ASCOM and install it again - maybe that helps.

SharpCap is OK but I am used to Maxim DL

Hi Sam,

first step done. I uninstalled ASCOM Driver complete and did a new Installation. Now I get a proper Image also in MaximDL.

The only Thing that is not working right now is the cooler.

I can Switch it "ON" but there is no effect. Cooler power says 0%.

Any idea?

which MDL version did you use?

the old version V5.14 and lower seems have such problem
