I am new to the site and I just bought my ASI 1600MM-Cool camera yesterday and I am already having major issues with the camera and I was hoping that people here can help. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
I just bought your ZWO ASI 1600MM Cool camera yesterday from OPT and when I took it home I installed the drivers and everything was working well. I started testing the camera by taking some dark frames. But this morning I don't what happened but the camera is not working properly anymore.
The first problem that I have is when the camera begins to take an image after the exposure is completed the image will not download at all. It just shows reading on Maxim DL with no image download. The timer will continue but there is no image that will download.
The second problem that I am having is the regulated cooler. When I connect the camera to Maxim DL it will turn off the fan all together and the coolers will not work. At best when the camera does connect I set the camera to a certain set-point the camera will start the cooling and I can see the sensor temp cooling itself but then it will get stuck at a certain value even though it shows the cooler continuing to work. The sensor temp will not change at all even if you change the temp.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers multiple times and I am still getting the same problem. So I don't know if this is a driver issue or there is something wrong with the camera itself.
I also tried to use Nebulosity and when the camera connects it just crashed Nebulosity all together.
At this point I am thinking there is something wrong with the camera itself. I hope not but any advise would greatly be appreciated.
