ASI071 horizontal banding random interference... problem

Hi All!

Just bought ASI071 and I had observed weird behavior - when camera is powered externally and TEC is working i observe random horizontal pattern while preparing dark and bias library - its random and in my opinion frames are not suitable to be further using as calibration frames. Banding is not obvious when camera is powered only by USB - thus not cooling is used...

Any ideas how to avoid this ?

did you use the power adapter from us?

can you try power with one battery?

Yes indeed - the problem was solved by using another power source with added ferrite beads on it. I had observed wery high level of the EH noise from previous one... Also lowering USB speed to 40 helps to smooth the signal.
