I have been using the colour 120MC-S very successfully for lunar and planetary imaging. But also do a bit of DSO. So have got the mono USB 2 version for guiding.
Haven't had a chance to use it for DSO and with the Moon out I decided to see how the mono worked on that. But it appears I can't have both cameras on the same computer operating like that - I hope the guiding won't be a problem.
Sharpcap will recognise both cameras but I couldn't get a focus, not even with the colour. The Moon was dodging in and out of the clouds and made life difficult but it appears that your latest exe isn't working properly. I had a look on your forum and used a link from there to load the latest exe, May 7th this year - was same as one I had used anyway.
Firecapture wouldn't recognise either camera, not even when I reinstalled the original colour driver. However, fiddling around this morning it does recognise the colour when I removed your latest driver! But that doesn't appear to work with the mono, even with the colour driver removed.
If it is clear tonight I will do a bit more experimenting but it appears that you don't allow 2 instances of your exe - is this right
But with the colour driver removed and your latest driver installed I would expect it to recognise and properly control the mono camera. Firecapture doesn't recognise it and Sharpcap does but I don't think the driver is working - if properly clear tonight I might be able to establish that.
This is on a Windows 10 64bit Home version.
