For my ASI1600MC-C I am also using SGP.
When the FIT file is downloaded, where does the tag data (KEYWORDs) come from? Specifically, what software is populating those tags? Is it onboard/embedded on the ASI camera itself? Is it SGP or ASCOM drivers downloading the image, then writing it to the storage space?
Using FITS Liberator, I see the FIT file for a recent bias calibration file that I produced is as attached. This file contains more information when the focuser is attached, which leads me to believe that SGP or ASCOM is somehow producing the actual FIT file.
My real question is: how can we make it possible to have the FIT KEYBOARD containing the Gain and Offset used when the image was collected?
