Bought a 178MMC last March and have not tried it for real until now. When doing a flat in SharpCap I get this result. I see 6 perfect circles. What is this? Reason to be alarmed?

Those are dust bunnies (probably in your filter).
That is one reason you take flats.
Thank you for your reply. Must be on protection glass over sensor. Same for all filters. Never seen so perfect circular bunnies yet. OK, I thought I had blown them away, but will try again.
You can try to clean them but that is then a regular exercise.

Interesting. They seem to be 6 mm from sensor surface. Will search protective glass when I am home from work. Thank you for this!
