Problem with ice/dew on sensor.

Hi,

I bought an ASI071MC-Cool recently on Cloudy nights and I have been seeing some dew issues with it. It happens after I turn the cooler on to about -10C.

Attached is a screen capture that shows the problem.

The vertical and horizontal stuff is ice or dew. It goes away if I turn the cooler off. But then the cooler is not useful.

Could this be a problem with the dew socket screws. How do I get a replacement screw ?

I had the same problem with a recently purchased asi071 and I followed the directions in the manual using two recently microwaved desiccant tablets (to cook out the moisture) in the desiccant tube x 24 hours. That seems to have taken care of the problem. I repeated the process for another 24 hours for good measure. Warning: the desiccant tabs get hot and turn a bit brown when you microwave them for the recommended 2 minutes so don't put them on a plastic plate and do wait for them to cool down before you touch them......I speak from experience :
