ASI 1600 MM-C not recognized

I just received an ASI 1600 MM-C and I have downloaded the latest drivers, I'm running ASCOM 6.3 on a W10 laptop and desktop. When I connect the camera it only shows up in Device Manager as Other Device and when I click on it it says that the drivers for it were not loaded. In The SkyX the camera is not recognized either under the ASCOM driver or the ASI X2 driver. The filter wheel I purchased with it connects and seems to operate normally. I have tried connecting the camera directly to the computer with the included USB cable both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 with no luck. Is there anything else I can do or does the camera need to go back?

As an update I was able to recognize and connect to the camera through an HP desktop. The other desktop and the laptop are both Lenovo. Does this mean I need to get a PCI USB 3.0 card for the desktop? If so are there any that are known not to work?

usually you can upgrade the USB host controller driver to make it works

I installed a generic Best Buy USB 3.0 PCI card and it all works.
