ASI071 with Raspberry Pi3

With the new ASI071 I seem to encounter some ampglow problems, in combination with the Raspberry, via which I am managing my entire set up (indilib/KStars/Ekos).

Am I right that this might be due to the USB2 interface of the Raspberry? If yes, can that be fixed somehow, or is a solution already out there?

you can try to turn up "USB bandwidth" to faster the transfer speed

too slow transfer may have amp-glow problem

Hi Sam,

...so I did, increasing in indi from initially 40 to 100 (=max) indeed has a positive effect, - still there is a fair bit of amp-glow remaining. Would be good to know if anything could be done for those users who cannot avoid using USB 2.0.

sorry, there is no way if you use USB2.0

we will add one DDR buffer to our camera to solve such problem in the future

but we may provide such upgrade for old customer
