I have the EFW8 and after changing filters after a period of inactivity, when connected, the wheel rotates about 300 degrees and stops, then repeats and never settles. It seems it has lost its starting position and I have tried reinitialising through the ASCOM driver, but to no avail. I read about manually moving the wheel to position 1 and then disconnecting and reconnecting, but that seems to have no effect either. Anything I can do to reset it?
It is rotating smoothly, so nothing seems intrinsically wrong with it, it just can't seem to work out where it is...
