can cooling remain on after disconnect with sdk?

Hi-

I am writing an app to control asi 1600 and 290 and I would like to connect and disconnect the camera as needed, but keep the cooling on after disconnect. Is this possible at all?

Alternatively can I have two apps connected to the camera at the same time - so one app can act as a daemon to control cooling as the other app connects and disconnects?

If both answers are no then I will need to have a dedicated server connected to the camera - and have the client app connect to the server and control the camera through it.

I would like to confirm what I need to do for this.

our SDK will stop the cooler for safety reason when you diconnect the camera

@Sam@ZWO#14710 Is it possible to implement a delay after disconnecting the camera, let say around 5 or 10 minutes, to permit the cooling to stay active instead of shutting down? If the application is reconnected during this delay, the cooling system will stay active until the camera is disconnected including the delay. Sometime, acquisition software or computer may bug and it's annoying to have to freeze the camera chip from scratch again. It's a waste of time.

Concerning safety reason, people who are buying an oven must be aware about safety. It's the same for us astronomer. Keep in mind that these cameras with cooling system are made to be used outside not the contrary. My two cents!
