I recently purchased an ASI120MM as a guide camera. I had previously been running a ASI130MM for several years with no problems. I purchased the 120MM because i wanted the increased sensitivity of the higher QE. I removed the 130MM. I installed the ASI120 driver, upgraded from ASCOM 6.2 to 6.3, and checked that the 120MM could be opened and operated under Sharpcap 2.9. I use Metaguide as my guide software and it worked perfectly with the old 130MM. My imaging camera is an ASI1600MM-C and i use SGP, all of which worked fine. However, when i open Metaguide, the 120MM is there and obviously works and i have control over settings, the problem comes when i try to calibrate and guide - Metaguide says it cannot detect the camera and this is despite it obviously working. I suspect it cannot detect the camera through the ST4 cable. The guide cable is plugged into the 120MM and into mu CGX mount - exactly the way the 130MM worked perfectly. I have tried reinstalling Metaguide, checked the ASCOM driver setup, etc, everything seems to be as it should be. How can i fix this?
