Using power data hubs with ASI120mm-S

I am upgrading to the ASI120mm-s camera for my guide scope after the ASI120MM gave me a lot of problems. I would like to reduce the number of data cables on the tripod by using a power data hub to connect to my computer. I have read a few comments regarding whether to use a power data hub with the ASI120mm-S. Some people say yes and others say no. Will the data hub work with the camera? If maybe what criteria do I need to look for in a data hub?
