Won't connect through USB 3 port

I use a USB 3 hub during my astro sessions and my new ASI120MC will not connect to the computer through the USB 3 port. I have tried directly to the port but no luck. If I plug into the USB 2 port, everything works fine. Does the ASI120MC not work with USB 3, or is there some sort of driver issue?

The ZWO implementation of USB3 Hardware seems to default to "Full Bore", and requires you to "Throttle-Down" via the SharpCap configuration screen.

See other Threads in this Forum for where and how to find the necessary setting depending on which version of SharpCap.

I will post some more details because the camera will not work at all. I can't do anything in SharpCap because as far as its concerned, there is no camera connected.

In device manager the ZWOASI120MC device has the warning triangle with a ! in it. Showing properties on the General tab in Device Status reads "This device cannot start. (Code 10) Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. I have gone through device manager and updated all USB controller drivers. Still not working.

My laptop system properties:

Dell Inspiron N1400R

i3-2350M 2.3GHz processor

8Gb RAM

500 GB HD (not SSD)

Windows 10 Home 64 bit

SharpCap 3.0 Pro

some usb3.0 host have such problem

you can flash the new compatible firmware to solve it

but you need to do it on a good usb2.0 host
