Well like the title says, If you ever wondered how a ZWO ASI120MC would hold up to being rained on well I believe I may have the answer to that...
However I wouldn't recommend you try it but if it happens it might be the same out come...
This is the video I did of the camera getting hit by a heavy rain down pour.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LI2acliOnA - Video of ZWO ASI120MC getting Unexpectedly rained on.
It's been almost a month come the 20th of October, and well it appears to still work as it did before it got rained on.
Since it got rained on the first time it's been unexpectedly rained on 2 more times, and still works good.
However I wouldn't guarantee the same out come but I'm pretty surprised how it's handled.
Since the camera is pretty well sealed the other way water would get into the camera is if you were to submerge it under water, also the ports on the camera are vulnerable to possibly shorting out or just damaging the ports, and by ports I'm referring to the USB and the Autoguider other then that it's a pretty sealed camera, unlike a DSLR If you were to let a DSLR stay in the rain with the ZWO ASI120MC I'm pretty sure the DSLR would fail or suffer from problems.
