M81 and M82 - 50 sec and Gain 400

Hello,

here is my first presentable picture taken with my new ASI071.

I used the scope Orion Newton 10", f=1200mm with the mount AZ-EQ6GT guided with a finder scope with the lodestar cam am PHD-Guiding. But the guiding makes unexpected a lot problems, so that I decided, to take only 50 sec exposures with a gain value of 400.

37 lights and 15 Darks combined with an artificial Flat with PS - and here is the result...

Impressive with 50sec exposures. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Guiding is no easy task with such large Newtonian and 1200mm fl.

You may need to up your guiding focal length (I sometimes used barlow lens - yes just the barlow lens screwed to camera nosepiece).
