Hello, I have a Meade LX600 10" with a moonlight focuser. I've had the ASI071 for almost a year but haven't had the chance to try it out due to no prolonged skies being available. Long story short, we finally have a few days of wonderful weather so I set everything up. Scope is dialed in, finding everything easily, (permanently mounted on a pier so easy to get going). I also have an ES102ED piggybacked on the LX600 so it's like a huge finderscope, :). My Windows 7 pc with latest ver of SharpCap installed, detects camera just fine but I can't seem to get ANY image. I'd hoped for the typical donut to begin focusing but no joy. I have about two more days to toy with this prior to more poor weather and will need to tear down. I'd really like to get this tweaked in so whenever opportunity presents itself I can resume. Sorry for long spiel but was wondering if anyone can throw me any tips to get going quicker or perhaps someone has tried this configuration. FWIW I have the Canon lens adapter and have been playing with ASI071 indoors to test software and such so I do know it's not an equipment or software issue. Could it be a backfocus issue? Thanks for any help/input.
I should probably add that I'm in perfect focus visually using a basic Meade 26mm Plossl eyepiece with a Baader 2" diagonal.
