First Light - ASI294MC

Received the new camera this week and wanted to share the first few processed images. I am still playing around with the settings and will try higher gain to understand differences.

Equipment:

RC8 telescope on SB MyT mount

Loadstar autoguider

TheSkyX mount control/image capture

Pixinsight processing

Barnard 33 (Horsehead Nebula)

21x10min subs, fully calibrated with bias, flat, dark, gain=130, raw16

NGC253 (Sculptor Galaxy)

14x10min subs, fully calibrated with bias, flat, dark, gain=130, raw16

NGC7293 (Helix Nebula)

11x10min subs, fully calibrated with bias, flat, dark, gain=130, raw16

Those are some very nice images captured with your ASI294. Were you at native F8 or reduced and if so, what focal reduction were you at please?

No focal reduction - native F8.

These are fantastic. this camera looks like a real winner, if you're wanting to do OSC. Thanks for posting, good to see some relatively deep integrations from this product.
