ASI 1600MM C vertical lines visible in frames

I have recently purchased zwo asi 1600mm c and today i had the first test run and to my surprise all my subs are showing vertical banding ...

please help me

i firstly connected camera through extender but now i tried without it ... directly attaching it to laptop

i have i7, 12 gb ram .

please help me find a solution please

Hi, I'm having the same problem. about 50% of my subs are OK but the other 50% range from having a few vertical lines to looking exactly like your screenshot.

I have tried many of the suggestions I've seen online like turning off wifi and bluetooth and adjusting the USB slider in the camera's ascom driver control panel but all to no avail.

I've seen someone online (https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/587286-asi1600mm-cool-stark-vertical-lines-every-few-frames/) who was having the same sort of issue. A ZWO employee told them that the camera was faulty (something about soldering I think?) and needed to be returned for replacement.

Sam, any update on the FPGA update? I'm seeing the same issue on about a 1/3 of my 300s narrowband images.

I have the same problem with my brand new 1600MC Cool...

Almost all my subs have this vertical banding.

please install teamviewer and connect the camera

then PM me your account and pass

we will visit and upgrade the FPGA code for your camera

Chad from ZWO updated my firmware in a Teamviewer session. I tried it tonight and now the camera works perfectly.

I observed the same issue with vertical bands in some of the images today. When I stopped and restarted imaging session, it went away. I was lucky to be awake to see this happen. How do I get this fixed?

Is there any Issue with applying this Patch on an ASI 1600 which does NOT currently exhibit the "Lines Issue"??

Can this Patch hurt a Camera??

Also could you include Screenshots of the Patch's Dialogs showing English, so most of us can review what Information / Instructions / Warnings are displayed on them - BEFORE attempting the Patch operation incorrectly??

this is a firmware upgrade

you don't need to do it if your camera don't have such issue

it won't hurt camera
