Is there still the dew problem on the new asi 071 pro?

following a bad axperience with my friend who recently bought an asi 071 cool which presents the dew problem when the cooling is set to -10 ° and more! I am interested in the new 071 pro but I want to know if this dew problem is still there?

Hi ZWO, I have an ASI071-Pro and it frosts/dews now. I opened the chamber and dried the desiccant tabs and that fixed it for about 3 weeks but it now dews up again. I assume the dew/frost is inside the chamber.

I have our ASI2600-MC and it needed to have the sensor cleaned off from oil - twice. But it seems to be not dewing up yet thankfully. I noticed the area under the PCB board has epoxy sealing around the 4 screws and the wires on the sensor plug. Do you think my 071 could be sealed better there by lifting the PCB with the sensor and sealing better?

If so, and it is a new camera, please submit this issue on https://support.astronomy-imaging-camera.com/
this camera may need to be send back for repair.
If it is an old camera, you can refer to below guide to check if you are able to modify the camera by yourself, and we will send you the cooling pad.

I think there is no problem when decreasing temperature slowly, for example from 7C to 2C,then wait. Next from 2C to - 3C,then wait, and so on to temperature that You want.

I bought Asi 071 mc pro in September 2019r and after 6 months I noticed the frost problem. I did not open the chamber and dry descicant. I only changed the way of cooling camera in the begining of the session - after opening app I turn off cooling and set temperature 5C below ambient, do preview shot to check if it is frost /dew, wait a short moment and so on, gradually to - 10 C. Doing this way problem with frost has never return.
After latest firmware upgrade I see function - dont start cooling immidietly (now I dont have to turn off cooling after opening the app) and to cool gradually.
