ASI178MC Image Corners

Hi all,

anyone having such an effect like me? The corners of all my images are very overexposed, even if i take darks. Attached you can see an image (5 mins) showing the problem. It was taken in complete dark, camera sensor covered. What is going on in the corners? Is there something i can do about it?

The problem results in images being not so nice, as an example see the following image of M33 and look at the lower right corner:

Hi Michael,

It should be the amplifier glow.

It is very common for image sensors. You can eliminate its impact on light by shooting a dark field.

Hi Chad,

thanks for the keyword "amplifier glow". After reading through several posts found via google i feel informed about that matter. I will try to add more darks to my lights.
