As of now, the largest monochrome chip is the ASI1600, right? I think the standard size for 2" filters is 50mm round unmounted filters. That is what I have. I know it would be very big, but a 10-position 50mm filter wheel would be great. Or at least being able to use unmounted 50mm filters. That would allow for LRGB, Narrowband (HA, SII, OIII) as well as a couple of astrometric (BVR) filters in a single carousel.
Secondly, not related to a 2" wheel, but I have the 7 position 36mm wheel, and was wondering if you could just purchase an additional carousel for filters, so you don't have to remove the individual filters if you want to use others? Those mounting screws are very small. and for those with a a lot of filters, it would be a lot easier to swap them out that way.
