Taking delivery of the 1600 pro mono tomorrow. I see that it has two USB 2.0 "out" and one USB 3.0 "In".
I also have an ASI120 mono speed for a guide cam. I figured I'd be using the 1600 USB 3.0 OUT to laptop along with the 120 guide cam as USB 2.0 either direct or through the 1600 hub somehow.
It doesn't make sense to me that USB 3.0 doesn't go "Out" to the laptop. I won't be using the 3.0 on the 120 for guiding, only for planetary when that camera is used in the main OTA instead of the 1600.
I have two USB 2.0 inputs and one 3.0 input on the laptop. I am trying to picture the hookup in my head but that USB 3.0 "In" on the 1600 is throwing me for a loop.
How will these cameras hook up using EQMOD on a AZ-EQ5 mount? This mount uses USB direct to control. Hope this makes sense.
