Nebulosity 4.1.7 issue with ASI 1600

Hi,

I ordered an ASI 1600m PRO over Christmas, which works fine with SharpCap but when I try to select the ZWO camera dropdown in Nebulosity 4.1.7 it says "No Camera found".

I downloaded and ran the drivers V.3.0.0.2 from the astronomy-imaging-camera.com, plus ASCOM 6.3 and ASICamera ASCOM Setup V1.0.3.12

Is this a known issue or do I need to do another step?

Is there another way to connect to the camera in Nebulosity?

I think it is about Nebulosity version. Does it have a newer version can be download?

Could you try your camera in Sharpcap 3.0 to make sure the camera is works well on your computer.

this is because Nebulosity didnot update the SDK to newest

you need to select ASCOM instead of ZWO cameras under the menu

our ASCOM driver is always the newest

I made my first shot a few days ago on Messier 42.

Camera ZWO ASI 1600 MC cooled, Nebulosity 4

The RAW image is nice but the de-bayerised RGB is awfully green, without any pink pixel.

Tried the manually color reconstruction under CMYG array, the image is purple.

Need help...

Hi Michel,

Check the following items in Nebulosity.

1. Go to Edit\Preferences\Capture and select "RAW Acquisition"

2. Go to Edit\Preferences\Processing and select "Manually override colour reconstruction".

3. When you do a "De-Mosaic RAW" on an image (or batch of images), this will ley you manually specify the bayer matrix offset.

Use the values X=1 and Y=1.

This should give you all of the RGB values in the correct places. I think this will only be necessary in the short term when using Nebulosity beta versions, or via the ASCOM driver. I'm hoping Craig will bake these bayer matrix offset values for ZWO ASI colour cameras into the next full release of Nebulosity.
