Hi,

This is question from a new owner of the above camera. I have created a darks library for my other cameras based on differing time exposures and I am planning to do the same for the 1600. My question is based around a degree of confusion about the gain and offset settings. I am creating darks based on the unity gain settings. If I change the gain/offset values do I have to create a different set of darks based on those settings?

you have to re build the library if gain or offset changed

No, it was a question about what if. Haven’t even had chance to use the camera yet. My guess is that I would need a set of darks for every change in gain/offset. My understanding is that I can achieve really good results with short exposures which makes the darks process less of a problem.
