Can't reach focus with 1600mm pro

Using the included spacers I am only able to reach focus when I include the 0.8X Flattener/Reducer in my imaging train.

SV102T, flattener/reducer, 16.5mm spacer, 11mm spacer from camera, male to male adapter,, ZWO EFW8 and then the ASI1600.

I took out the flattener and replaced that with the 21mm spacer included. Not enough back focus.

Am I doing something wrong or do I need a spacer bigger than 21mm? I'm looking to eliminate the flattener for certain shots.

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem? Ive been visually oblerving for 20+ years but a newbie to imaging.
I have a TeleVue85 (600mm, f7) and new ASIAir Pro ,ASI cameras and cannot resolve any stars for plate solve or PA. I suspect that I need to to add a .8x reducer to get a star in focus but thats sveral hundred dollar experiment and Im getting limited input from ZWO.
On all the YouTube videos for the AAPro the process and camera interface seemed seamless, but most seemed to have SpaceCat,RedCat OTA's which I think have built in reducers.
I hope you got you issue worked out and any thoughts are appreciated in advance.

I don't know if this helps, but by cannot resolve do you mean unable to bring stars into focus? If so, do the out of focus stars get smaller as you draw your focuser out, but run out of travel before they're in focus? If so, adding spacers to move the sensor away from the objective should fix this, you can confirm this by pulling the camera just out of the focuser & holding it in position by hand to see if you can at least achieve focus.
