EOS lens adapter sag?

I bought the EOS lens adapter (EFW version) to go with my ASI1600MM-Cool and miniEFW.

However, when I take an image the stars are inconsistently shaped around the image. I traced it back to some slack in the bayonet connection, which allows the lens to sag.

Is there a way to tighten this up and eliminate the sag or do I have a bad one?

did you use another ring to hold the lens?

Yes, I used a ring to hold the lens, as the lens was certainly heavier than the ASI1600, but the camera sagged :(

I did try holding the camera with another ring, but the two ring “feet”are not the same height. It’s a challenge :

sorry about this issue

our new adapter will be more tighter

but I think 2 rings is the best way to hold it
