USB port use on 1600mm camera

Hi guys,

With the 2 x USB out ports on the 1600mm camera, can these be used to connect any USB device?

Wanting to connect a focuser and a guider and manage this through the USB3 input cable like a USB hub.

Yes， of course 。

You can use it to connect to other USB devices. It is no different than any other USB HUB (2.0).

Here is a follow-up question.

What is the current capability of the ASI1600 internal hub when the camera is running from a 12VDC power source (battery)? For example: it could be 0.5A per port or 2A total or ?? Please tell us if your answer would also apply to other cameras in the family like ASI294.

It is 0.5A per port, and it is the same in other camera with USB 2.0 port.
