EFW-mini under OSX

Hi all!

I've just received my EFW-mini to join my ASI174MM.

I do all my acquisition and processing with my Mac (OSX), and I cannot make it work under OACapture 1.3 or FireCapture 2.6, they do not detect it.

The only software that detects it is the INDI Server. The wheel works fine, because I've been able to change filters through the INDI driver interface in PixInsight.

What software do you use it under OSX? Or do you know of a small utility just to change filters?

Oacapture and Firecapture have not implemented the support for our EFW natively, as I know you can use AstroImage to control our EFW.

I've been told by OaCapture programmer that he will be supporting it in newer versions. Let's hope it will be soon.

Meanwhile, since I had no such thing as a simple utility just to change filters unther OSX, I downloaded the available API and built my own small app. It seems to work fine, so problem solved.

If anyone wants to test/use it, just drop me a line.

I have been using EFW-mini with sharpcap without any problems or issues. However changing to Firecapture software, it does not allow the the filter wheel to operate even when selecting ascom platform driver. I would like to use the firecapture as it allows for auto guiding which for me is ideal for planetary photography. I have a EQ-AZ 5 skywatcher mount with 180mm Mak and/or 150mm reflector. Is there any thoughts on what would be happening here.

It's strange, Firecapture can use EFW without ASCOM driver.
