Sensor for near IR

Hi there. I'm looking into a way to do live imaging in the IR range using a dedicated astrocam. Not for astro imaging, but fit with a lens, like using a handheld camera. I'm thinking the range of about 4 min.s exposure at max. Using band pass filter I'd be imaging from 800 - 860 nm.

Would the IMX174 be my choice? Mono version.

Hi,

If you're looking for a professional camera that's particularly sensitive to IR bands, I don't think we're right for you.

But if you're just looking for a try, then all mono cameras are OK. I might recommend you 290MM. It should be better than 174.

Thanks, Chad. I am willing to try, though. But I think the 290 chip a bit small.
