ASICAP camera power draw

Hi. If I use ASICAP and connect to a tablet, and the camera has cooling, will the camera draw power for the cooling?

I think it should be optional, so you can turn fan on and off. And perhaps adjustable fan speed / temperature control. I'd be worried that cooling would empty the battery of a tablet or phone.
