120 MM-S doesn't work on USB-C port

Hi,

I try to connect my 120MM-S on my USB-C - USB adaptor but firecapture doesn't detect the camera. Any solution ?

I think you should check your PC's Device Manager. Check to see if there is a 120MM-S device in it. If so, is there a warning?

Sorry and thanks. I got it working but now my issue is I am only getting 18fps at full resolution. At the smallest resolution I am getting about 118fps. This is my first camera and I hope that I have something not right. Thanks.

Hi,

If you want to get the fastest framerate, please do these:

1, Connect it to a USB3.0 Ports.

2, Adjust the exposure time to 10ms. If your exposure time is 50ms, the framerate : 1000/50=20fps.

3, Adjust the USB traffic to 100%. This will give the camera all the USB bandwidth.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have the asi 120mc. i can only connect to a USB2.0. But the spec state that I can get 35fps at max res.

You can try these ways below:

1, Use short cables.

2, Enable High Speed.

3, Switch to a higher-performance computer.

On my PC, it is the same with you. But on my partner's PC, it could reach 35fps.
