Hello,

after 12 years of imaging with a mono CCD, finally the Moravian G3-16200, I think it is time for a color CCD. To connect the camera I have a Silex DS 520AN USB 2.0 device server in my observatory connected to a active USB 3.0 hub to connect the camera, guider, mount and focuser. All is controlled via Wifi from a computer inside my house.

Can I connect the ASI094 in this way? What will be the break between 2 exposures? Will the DDR buffer minimize that time also when I use only USB 2.0 with the Silex?

yes, DDR helps

we tried 510 though 100M Ethernet and it works

I am sure 520 works too if the wifi of 520 can go up to 300Mbps

My Wifi is about 50 to 100 MBit. What problems do I have to expect?

it should be ok for ASCOM driver

but very slow if you connect with video capture software such like asicap
