I want your professional opinions on the quality of the subs that my ASI1600 Pro is providing. I have returned the camera once for issues and it was returned a few months ago. I am still finding that the images it produces are not correct. If you zoom in abit on the background it is very mottled (grey and black, sorta marbled looking). Could you please have a look at the attached files and tell me what you think. Is this the way these should look? It is a total of 182 30sec Lum subs with each 3rd frame being dithered. I am using an AP1100GTO mount and tracking and guiding are quite good.
One of them is just a straight registration/alignment, with no calibration (flats/darks/bias) - M82_Raw_Integrated_Dat
One of them has been calibrated - M82_Calibrated_Data
