Asi 1600MM Cooled not below -15°C

Hi,

I’m powering my 1600MM (less than a year old) with ample power (12 V 6A power supply) but I can’t cool it below -15°C even if ambiant temperature is 6°C? The power light is on and the fan is working. It used to work before.

Any tought about this issue?

1, After you cool for 10 minutes, can you feel the hot when you touch the camera shell?

2, How many degrees of cooling can be achieved when the ambient temperature is 6 degrees?

Hi Chad,

According to the camera specification published on Zwo wab site the camera can cool 40-45 °C below ambiant. Since the ambiant teperature was 6 °C then it should have been able to cool to -34 or 39 °C. No matter what temperature below -15°C I set the camera to, it allways cools to -15°C and stops there.

Like I said, it use to work. I fear that my camera is defective.

Did you try another power supply and other softwares?

When it run at -15degree ,what is the power show up? 100%?
