ASI174MC-Cool not reporting temperature or Cooler Power Perc

I am using an ASI174MC-Cool and finding that with the ASICamera2 SDK on Linux the camera temperature and the Cooler power percent status are reported as 0 all the time.

I am using the same code as in the demo software delivered with the SDK.

If I run the test_console demo software, which uses the ASICamera SDK (doc says revision 1.3, 2016.12.9), then the camera temperature is reported.

Running the test_gui2_snap software using ASICamera2 SDK reports a temperature of 0.

We are using the cooler and knowing the temperature is important.

I am using the ASICamera2 SDK from May 2017, however the change log for newer versions does not indicate anything relating to the camera temperature.

Can anyone help?

Hi, please try the latest SDK.

It's OK, I solved my problem. Even with the older SDK the temperature is reported, but only after a short delay. Added to that there was a small error somewhere on the display side meaning I didn't see the temperature when it was available. All too easily done.
