is Gamma still there on 174's

I have seen that Sharpcap got rid of the gamma control on their version 3.1 they said it is because ZWO got rid of gamma

Did you remove the ability to change gamma on the new ASI cameras and if so when was that done?

Most of the solar imagers, and myself, use the gamma to bring out the prominences and the surface differently. We have found that tweaking the gamma is a powerful tool for solar (I also have found reducing gamma helps with lunar, but leave it alone for deep sky)

Same story with Firecapture 2.6.

Older 2.5 version I am running for Solar as indeed we need tweaking with Gamma to get decent prominences.

Waiting for answer as well on this one.

The Gamma still can adjust in Firecapture. If you need to use Gamma control, you can use FC instead.
