UV-IR cut filter

Hi,

Does the 183MC and/or the 183MM have a UV-IR cut filter?

I own both (cooled, pro models) and want to know if this might be a reason I am getting halos around stars?

I am also not getting much color with the color version. Perhaps it is getting washed out in UV and IR?

No, They both use AR coated protective window.

Protective window won't cause halos.

So the full spectrum of light is allowed in, correct? (Similar to the ASI 224).

If true, this is good news, as a cut filter (or semi-apo filter) will produce sharper stars with less halos, using my 2-element flourite refractor.
