My latest Jupiter images

From 19th Feb. ASI120MC/2x barlow/127 Mak/EQ3-2. Processed using PIPP, AS!2 and Registax v6 for wavelets.

My best so far I think. The first is 20fps with the settings I was using with my 2.5x barlow, then two each from runs at 20, 30, 40 and 50 fps with the red and blue adjusted so the histograms roughly matched the green.

For Jupiter I usually stick to a maximum of three minutes.

I'm hoping there will be a chance to get out and do some imaging of Jupiter this evening.

The sky is clear for the first time since 4th September, so I'm just about to get outside to set up. Uranus looks a little close to the Moon, but I might have a try for that as well.

To increase the image size, you can stack barlows or use a barlow with a higher magnification, but be cautious about light loss. Adding eyepieces isn't possible as they aren't designed to work with cameras. Joining an astrophotography group can provide guidance and tips to improve your setup.
